The Cleanology and Hygiene Bank Partnership
Who are The Hygiene Bank?
The Hygiene Bank is a people-powered charity and social movement, committed to tackling hygiene poverty in communities across the UK. The Hygiene Bank believe that no one should have to choose between staying clean and meeting other basic needs. Through their network of projects, they provide essential hygiene products to those experiencing poverty or crisis.
How does The Hygiene Bank work?
Their approach is simple yet effective. They collect donations of hygiene products, sort them, and distribute them to their network of community partners, including charities, schools, and organisations that support those in need.
By supporting The Hygiene Bank, you’re not only helping individuals but also supporting multiple grassroots initiatives tackling various social issues.

The Cleanology DNA
At Cleanology, we believe everyone deserves to feel clean. Hygiene poverty can have a huge impact on people’s health, wellbeing, confidence and dignity, which is why supporting The Hygiene Bank is so important to us.
Our partnership reflects our commitment to doing what is right for our people and the communities around us.
Our annual Hygiene Bank Charity Evening brings together clients, suppliers, colleagues and industry friends for an evening of networking, entertainment and fundraising.
The event includes drinks and canapés, a panel discussion, live entertainment, a grand raffle and live auction, with all proceeds supporting The Hygiene Bank and its work tackling hygiene poverty.
We support The Hygiene Bank through fundraising, events, donations and awareness campaigns. Each year, we bring our clients, suppliers, colleagues and wider network together to help raise vital funds and support the charity’s work across the UK.
We are proud to be a Gold Partner and continue to look for new ways to make a positive difference.
There are lots of ways to get involved. You can attend our annual charity evening, donate a raffle or auction prize, support our fundraising campaigns or help raise awareness of hygiene poverty.
Clients can also choose to have a Hygiene Bank Donation Bin placed at their site, giving employees and visitors the opportunity to donate essential hygiene products. We can help organise the bins and provide the information you need to get started.
If you would like to get involved or arrange a Donation Bin for your site, get in touch with our team and we’ll be happy to help.
Definitely. I’d suggest one that explains where donations actually go, as it gives visitors a better understanding of the impact of the partnership.
Since our first Hygiene Bank fundraising event in 2021, Cleanology and our supporters have raised more than £151,000 for the charity.
What started with a fundraising event in our Clapham office car park has grown into an annual event that brings together hundreds of people from across the facilities management and business community.
Donations help The Hygiene Bank provide essential hygiene products to people experiencing hygiene poverty across the UK. Products are distributed through a network of community partners, including food banks, schools, shelters, community organisations and other local services, helping them reach people who need them most.
