Right for the community.

Cleanology has in place an annually updated Corporate Social Responsibility policy which outlines our commitment to ensuring our business activities have a positive impact on our employees, the environment, and the communities in which we serve.

The presence of corporate social responsibility principles also show that we are dedicated to maintaining high environmental, human rights and ethical standards for the benefit of all stakeholders, and via our business activities, uphold the rights of our employees and supplier employees.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, we actively seek to work with local and national charities and add social value through local volunteering. Staff are entitled to a volunteer day each year which they can use to support a charity of their choice.

Our CEO and HR Director have recently joined the Trailblazer charity programme, where they will provide support and mentoring to prison offenders to support their rehabilitation.

Right for the people.

We have partnered with The Hygiene Bank charity to help tackle hygiene poverty, an issue which affects 4.2m people in the UK. Through events, volunteering, and raising awareness of the cause, we have raised £117,000 for The Hygiene Bank to date. Cleanology has recently been awarded the highly coveted Gold Partnership status by the Hygiene Bank. The prestigious Gold Partnership status, held only by household names Boots, Unilever and Method, highlights Cleanology’s tireless commitment to help end hygiene poverty through financial support, product donations and raising awareness.

Right for our planet.

We are committed to achieving Carbon Neutral certification and are working with Carma to offset our emissions through Gold Standard projects. These projects not only mitigate our carbon footprint but also support biodiversity conservation. Additionally, we are involved in tree planting within the UK, where trees are planted by ex-war veterans, many of whom have PTSD. This initiative not only contributes to carbon sequestration and biodiversity enhancement but also supports veterans in reintegrating into the workforce.

Right for our team

Cleanology is MSDUK certified as an ethnic minority owned business. We support communities by creating local employment opportunities. We encourage equality, diversity & inclusion within our business with demonstrable success, pay staff the Real Living Wage, support local & national charities, and partake in volunteering projects.

Cleanology strive to add value to the communities in which we operate. For this reason, we manage several recruitment campaigns which enable us to utilise the local labour market. We encourage existing employees to refer local candidates. In return, we offer incentives for any successful hires. By utilising the local labour market, we seek to add value to the community by creating employment for local residents, ultimately adding value to the local economy. We also aim to reduce travel for our employees, minimising environmental impact.
