Cleanology, multi award-winning commercial cleaning company, has officially achieved its Carbon Neutral certification, a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

CEO and Co-founder Dominic Ponniah described the achievement as “a proud moment for Cleanology as we continue to lead by example in building a sustainable future. Achieving carbon neutrality is just the beginning – we are committed to further reducing our emissions year after year.”

With a strong focus on lowering carbon emissions and minimising environmental impact, Cleanology has implemented carbon reduction initiatives in partnership with Planet Mark, a leading sustainability certification body. By integrating eco-friendly cleaning solutions, energy efficient operations and waste reduction strategies, the company has made substantial progress toward its commitment to reach Net Zero by 2025.

Beyond reducing its carbon footprint, Cleanology has also invested in carbon offsetting projects that support global sustainability efforts. This includes a partnership with Carma, where tree planting initiatives not only help restore the environment but also provide meaningful employment for ex-war veterans. The company has also supported a wind farm project in Thailand, furthering its transition to Carbon Neutrality.

ESG Director Kate Lovell emphasised that “reaching this milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the invaluable support from Carma and Planet Mark. Sustainability is not just a goal for us – it is embedded in our culture, and we will continue pushing boundaries to make a real difference.”

Achieving Carbon Neutral status reinforces Cleanology’s position as a sustainability leader within the industry. By prioritising green cleaning solutions, ethical business practices, and long-term environmental goals, the company continues to drive positive change. Cleanology remains dedicated to pioneering eco-friendly innovations and shaping a cleaner, greener future.

As Cleanology continues to set new standards in sustainable cleaning practices, the company remains committed to driving meaningful change on its way to achieving B-
Corp status. By achieving Carbon Neutrality and working towards Net Zero emissions, Cleanology is not only reducing its environmental impact but also setting a benchmark for others in the industry. “The journey towards Net Zero has only just begun,” added Dominic Ponniah, “but Cleanology is proud to be at the forefront of the shift towards a greener, more responsible future.”
