- for quality systems and procedures
The benchmark award of a professional company with systems and procedures.
Many companies still do not have an ISO award. It is the sign of a quality-led company with professional standards. Cleanology’s systems are assessed every year to ensure continuity of standards and has passed first-time every single year.
- for environmental responsibility
The benchmark award for environmentally responsible systems.
Many people say it is easier to achieve this award, but much harder to retain it. It is testament to Cleanology’s environmental commitment that it has passed its independent annual audit year on year.
- for health & safety
This is probably the most rigorous independent health & safety audit any organisation can go through.
Year-after-year, Cleanology is audited and credited with having the highest standards for health & safety procedures.
The Green Organisation
- for environmental innovation
This prestigious body independently audits the 'green' credentials of companies.
Cleanology joined the scheme in 2009, and in 2010, had its membership upgraded to 4* status, the highest possible level.
Cleaning & Support Services Association (CSSA)
- the industry watchdog
This long-established body represents the industry at all levels.
Its work includes lobbying government and other organisations on issues which affect the industry. Regular meetings take place at which industry colleagues can share experience and develop best practice.
The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc)
- the industry standard
This is the cleaning industry's official body.
BISCs sets the benchmark standard which all companies should follow. We use the official BISCs guidelines for our training and all our cleaners and supervisors are trained to at least its standard.
Some of our managers even go on to become qualified BISCs trainers and assessors, which means they have some of the highest levels of training and expertise possible.
National Carpet Cleaners' Association (NCCA)
- the professional body
This is the official trade body for professional carpet cleaners.
Cleanology carry out all carpet & upholstery cleaning by its in-house specialists. The specialists receive ongoing training from managers with years of experience behind them, and are also provided with professional training by attending courses such as those operated by ProChem, the industry's leading chemical manufacturer. All of Cleanology's in-house carpet cleaners have to have a minimum of 5 years personal experience before they can qualify as a Cleanology Specialist.
